The Brown Cow started life as a petrol station and then ventured on
to become a furniture warehouse, which is what gave the Cow its
structural base. Since then, the Cow has come a long way from its
petrol station roots and has, you could say, found greener
pastures.
The Cow closed during June 2006 and underwent a total facelift,
now making it one of the trendiest places to be seen in Bayside.
The Cow has four distinct eating areas; a rear courtyard, rear
lounge, main dining area and large deck, facing Hampton street. The
flexibility of dining in so many areas makes it possible to attend
the Cow and be private, or sit on the deck and be seen.
And since a smaller, second renovation in the back dining area
in 2007, we now have the flexibility to host events in either one
of our two function spaces, as well as accommodate larger functions
by amalgamating the two areas.
The Cow is open seven days a week from 7am daily
Our opening hours are:
Sunday 7am to 10pm
Monday to Wednesday 7am to 11pm
Thursday to Saturday 7am to 1am (following day)
